【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsprovideusefulindexesofperformanceofplasticmaterialssuchaspowdersandgranuleswithrespecttotheirhandlinginpackagingandfabrication.Apparentdensityisameasureofthefluffinessofamaterial.Bulkfactorisameasureofvolumechangethatmaybeexpectedinfabrication.Pourabilitycharacterizesthehandlingpropertiesofafinelydividedplasticmaterial.Itisameasureofthereadinesswithwhichsuchmaterialswillflowthroughhoppersandfeedtubesanddeliveruniformweightsofmaterial.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthemeasurementofapparentdensity,bulkfactor,andwhereapplicable,thepourabilityofplasticmaterialssuchasmoldingpowders.Differentproceduresaregivenforapplicationtothevariousformsofthesematerialsthatarecommonlyencountered,fromfinepowdersandgranulestolargeflakesandcutfibers.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212TestMethodAisequivalenttoISOMethodR60asdescribedintheappendix.TestMethodCisidenticalwithISOMethodR61.
