【摘要】:ThisCEN/TSdefinesthespecificinterfacesandfunctionalityoftraffictelematics(TT)servicesbasedontheuseofcellularnetworks.DevicemanufacturersareenabledtodevelopterminalequipmentcompatibletoservicesbasedonthisCEN/TS.Thiswillallowforinteroperabilityofdifferentterminalequipmentandserviceproviderswhichallowscompetitionbetweenserviceprovidersandterminalmanufacturers.Furthermoreitsetsthesceneforinternationalavailabilityoftheseservices.ThisCEN/TSspecifies·TT-specificinterfacesbetweenterminalandservicecentre.Thisespeciallyincorporatesthemessagesetsoftheapplicationdataprotocolsandtheservice-independentcommunicationhandling(includingconditionalaccessandtransportprotocols).·Functionality,proceduresandrequirementsofbasicterminalcomponentsaswellastheirinteractionwiththeservicecentre.Thisespeciallycomprisesconditionalaccessandsecuritymechanisms.·ServiceSpecifications,whichareessentialtoensureconsistentbehaviourofterminalandservicecentre.Theservicesincorporatedwithinthisissuecomprise:·breakdownandemergencyservices·interactivetrafficinformationservices·broadcasttrafficinformationservices·navigationservices(routeassistance,routeadvice,homing)·operatorservices·generalinformationservices·floatingcardatacollectionItisenvisagedthatfutureresearchanddevelopmentwillleadtoimprovementsontheserviceslistedaboveaswellastothecreationofnewservices.NeverthelessthisCEN/TSprovidestheframeworkforseamlessintegrationofnewfeaturesandservicesintotheexistingarchitecture.
