【摘要】:Flexiblematerialsshallbedefinedasfilmsormaterialsexhibitingflexibleproperties.Theserequirementscovershorttermandlongtermtestprocedurestobeusedfortheevaluationofflexiblematerial,film,basematerial,conductoradhesivematerial,bondingfilm,coverlay,andotherthinfilmmaterialsusedforpartsintendedforspecificapplicationsinendproducts.TogetherwiththeStandardsmentionedintheSupplementaryTestProcedures,Section6,theserequirementsprovidedatawithrespecttothephysical,electrical,flammability,thermal,andotherpropertiesofthematerialsunderconsiderationandareintendedtoprovideguidancetothematerialmanufacturer,thefabricator,theendproductmanufacturer,safetyengineersandotherinterestedparties.Compliancewiththeserequirementsdoesnotindicatetheproductisacceptableforuseasacomponentofanendproductwithoutfurtherevaluation.Theserequirementsdonotapplytotheevaluationofrigidindustriallaminateshavingathicknessgreaterthan0.25mm(0.010inch).Formaterialswiththicknessesgreaterthan0.25mmrefertotheStandardforPolymericMaterials-IndustrialLaminates,FilamentWoundTubing,VulcanizedFibre,andMaterialsUsedinPrintedWiringBoards,UL746E.
